Oscar and Grandpa’s Motorboat
When Oscar woke up, the sun was shining through his bedroom window. He was very excited.
“Guess what?” he said to Monkey. “Today I’m going out on Grandpa’s motorboat.”
Mum made his breakfast and Dad got him dressed. His little brother Eddie was sad he couldn’t go too.
“When you’re bigger,” Mum said.
“Yes Eddie, when you’re big like me,” said Oscar.
Then Grandpa came knocking on the door. Oscar cheered and jumped up and down.
“I’m looking for someone to help me take the motorboat out today…” Grandpa said with a smile.
“That’s me!” said Oscar.
“All right then. Are you ready for an adventure?” asked Grandpa.
“I’m ready!” yelled Oscar, grabbing his backpack. “Let’s go!”
